Context
Fencing has been my sport since school, where I was a three-time national team champion. At UCL I captained the team and looked after its money for the 2025–26 season.
My role
Captain and Treasurer.
What I did
- 01Held second place in the highest-tier league through performances under pressure.
- 02Recruited and coached 10+ new members.
- 03Helped secure £3,500 of extra funding for new equipment.
Outcome
Second in the top league, with a bigger squad and new kit.
